| Destruction Details: During the survey performed by O. Özbek in 2008 it was found that the hill was divided into two sections and due to erosion the mound is under the threat of destruction. Based on Özbek's assumption the final destruction took place during the Gallipoli War in WWI. A cannon ball that was fired from a ship opened a large pit in the center of the mound [Özbek 2010:243-244]. |
