It is situated 400 m south of Nisanci ridge-Gözetleme Hill martyrdom which is 100 m from sea shore at 78 m altitude in Eceabat district of Çanakkale. It is also known as Nisantepe. It was found during the survey performed by O. Özbek in 2008. Another name for the mound is Kel Tepe Mound. The land lacks vegetation and contains dense EBA (Troia I-II) and Chalcolithic period sherds, stone tools, and groundstones. The intrenchments dug for defense purposes during the Çanakkale wars mix with prehistoric fortification traces therefore it is not possible whether this wall was built for defense or it is part of a residence [Özbek 2010:243].
