| Location: This lies southeast of the city of Eskisehir and west of the Eskisehir-Seyitgazi highway. It is on the eastern flanks of Mount Tahtalibaba; on the plateau north of the village of Sarayören (Alponos/Alpoguz); about 25 km from Eskisehir. |
| Geography and Environment: There are flintstone quarries in the plateau to the north of Alponos; close to the Kocabogaz Stream. The biface handaxe mentioned below was found northwest of the village on the flanks of 1;331 m high Mount Tahtalibaba. |
