It lies in the Altinekin District of Konya, and measurements taken are uncertain. However, it seems to be a somewhat large mound based on its present appearance. It was discovered during the Mounds Survey of the Central Anatolia conducted under the direction of S. Güneri in 1988. The road constructed on the western side has destroyed the mound to a great extent. A restricted number of sherds from the 2nd Millennium BC as well as monochrome and painted sherds from the Iron Age and extensive Hellenistic and Roman sherds were found. The mound which is surrounded by the modern settlement was observed and documented during TAYEx 2002 Central Anatolia region. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
