It is situated on natural cliffs by the sea to the north of Sabandere, 3 km southwest of the Demirtepe Village, 4 km southeast of Bolayir on the Gelibolu Peninsula. To the west and southwest lie agricultural areas, and the sea behind them. To the south runs a cobblestone paved road in east-west direction between the fields in the plain and the field on the slope. It was discovered during the surveys conducted by M. Özdogan in 1982. Some Troy I type of sherds were collected from the settlement which measures 100x60x8 m in dimensions. It is reported that the Troy I level is very thick. Also found are Kumtepe Ib, Classical Period and Middle Age material. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
