Location: It is located on the skirts of Aralik hill which is on the eastern bank of Maden (Karasu) stream that empties into the Black Sea. It was developed 2.5 km west from the Meratepe cave.
Structural Properties and formation : The cave extending in east-west direction was developed as a passage type cave. The westernmost end bears a narrow entrance of a -4m deep pit; and shapes and formations characterising a multi-period development (profiles formed in different periods; stalagmites; dripstones formed in different periods...). But due to the presence of insoluble rocks under the limestones they are suspended. Sebetpinari is a fossil cave that completed its development; and which has a basin densely covered with depression blocks. Due to the passage type development of the cave (without any clear entrance and exit); it got deeper at the middle sections. It is covered with stalactites; stalagmites; columns; and curtain dripstones inside.
Research History: It was researched by the Geological Studies Department Presidency and published in 2002.
Findings: There are a few bats inside the cave.
