Region:

Location: It lies at the Saklisu Mevkii; 5 km northwest of Bahceköy; which is 13 km northeast of the Saray District of Tekirdag. It can be reached from Bahceköy on the Saray-Kiyiköy road. The road running from Bahceköy to Saklisu leads near to the cave. It lies on a limestone ridge; 1 km east of the Ceneviz Cave.
Structural Properties and formation : The vicinity of the Saklisu Cave was formed of the Paleozoic milonoitic gneisses of the Istranca Massif underlying the Triassic schists; which are overlaid by Eocene aged Kirklareli limestones. It is dry in all seasons as it halted its development. However; the underground creek submerging into the sinkhole in front of the cave and reaching to the Ceneviz Cave probably passes under the cave.
Research History: It was explored and mapped by MTA.
