It is located in the Atlar Valley of the Spil Mountain in Manisa. According to local villagers, no one went into such a small hole and explored. The cave was unnamed. The name, the most dominant feature of the cave was given: Spider Pit. Since there are hundreds of spiders and spider lurked in the cave. Movement is very restricted due to the small size of the entrance shaft. At a depth of 4-5 m there is a small ledge. This dropped off about 0,6 m where a small side passage join. At approximately 21 m below the surface, there is a small room with a high ceiling (approximately 12 m). A large stalactite hung from the ceiling near the center of the room. Numerous formations are along the walls and ceiling of the room. Cave is inactive and there are two small passages leading away from the room. Entry into these passages is prevented by rock walls that some ancient visitor may have carefully placed like the ruins of late Roman times on the mountain top, of the same era as the walls. Opposite to entrance of room, there is a shallow pit in the floor. The walls of the pit are lined by rocks appeared of the same age and as the ones sealing the two passages previously mentioned. A large stalagmite stands along the right wall of this area, above the pit. Beyond this formation there is also another small passage open. Approximately 5 m later it opens into a second room. This room is highly decorated by stalactites, cave coral, rimstone, and stalagmites. Several openings along the walls and floor are not large enough to enter. At a length of 121 m the cave ends.
