It is approximately 98 m long stretching in a southeastern direction and the walls are not wider than 2 m. There is a small creek flowing inside the cave and there are many stalagmites, stalactites, and flowstone curtains. It was formed within the contact zone of the Eocene arenaceous - argillaceous limestones and Triassic aged schists acting as caprocks; and gneisses of the Istranca Massif. Having piles of blocks; debris and sand at bottom; it has a very rich dripstone sedimentation. The decorations consisting of stalactite; stalagmite; column and curtain dripstones and dripstone bridges are visible from the middle zone.

Findings: Pottery pieces have been documented in Bostanlıktarla Cave. The entrance zone is inhabited by cave flies and cave butterflies; and a limited number of bats. Only a single individual Rhinolophus ferrumequinum has been documented hibernating in Bostanlıktarla Cave. However, three invertebrate species have been recorded including the new species, Centromerus bumadi sp. n.
