Explanation: The excavations carried out in Boztepe, which is located 8 km east of Bismil in Diyarbakir Province, were concentrated in the layers of the Halaf Period and Iron Age. The radiocarbon specimens of the Iron Age layers are from a 40 cm thick ash layer, which includes bones, pottery and burnt wood.
