Location: Düver Peninsula is located on the shore of Yarisli Lake, about 32 km southwest of Burdur. It extends 1 km from the southern shore towards inside.
Geography and Environment: The site lies on the high rocky area and there are fertile lands and fresh headwaters around it. With its landscape, the peninsula resembles the fortress which constitutes the centers of main Phrygian settlements. This area is accessible through the road which its rocky parts were truncated for the wheelers extending along the north shore. The plan of the settlement can not be seen by naked eye and there are no building remains on the surface [Kahya 2011:39].
Destruction Details: In 1960s, the Archaic settlement has been densely looted and the terracotta showing Phrygian characteristics have been smuggled. DUring the survey conducted in 2010, a great number of illicit digging pits were seen as well [Kahya 2011:39].
