Destruction Details: During the survey carried out by Yıldırım-Sipahi it is observed that an illicit excavation pit (1.60 by 1.30) is opened and the removed soil is piled up in the nearby. Two rows of regularly laid stones are uncovered down to approximately 3 metre deep. The illicit excavation continued beyond this depth down to almost 11 metre deep. Another wall is uncovered at this level. The periphery of the wall is checked with tunnels. Other drilling pits are also encountered in the near circle; it is understood that illicit excavation was carried out in a systemic way. The illicit excavators are caught by the law enforcement forces and the trial process is still going on [Yıldırım-Sipahi 2011: 40-41].
