Location: Artifacts were found southwest of the city of Tunceli; in the fields by the village of Yeniköy; immediately north of the Elazig-Tunceli highway and 12 km northeast of the town of Pertek. |
Geography and Environment: It is difficult to describe geographical/topographical setting of this site because the exact location is vague. The researcher in this area; K. Kökten suggests this large open-air site with nearby cave and rock-shelters was a preferred location in the Pleistocene. |
