Location: This site is located southwest of the city of Kayseri; in the valley of the Soganli Stream; a branch of the Mavrican Stream. The exact location of the site in the valley is not reported. |
Geography and Environment: The streams in the Cappodocia Region which is at the junction of the provinces of Nigde; Kayseri; Nevsehir and Aksaray have carved deep valleys into the landscape. The formation of these valleys might have taken place as early as the Pleistocene. |
