Location: It can be reached either from the Kislacik Village following the road deviating at 15th km of the Vize-Kiyiköy motorway or from the Vize-Kömürköy-Kizilagac road. The road is smooth until Kizilagac. A half an hour walking is required to go to the cave from the village. In dry seasons; it can also be reached by tractor.
Geography and Environment: The vicinity of the cave consists of gneisses and schists belonging to the Istranca Massif; and Eocene argillaceous and arenaceous limestones and Pliocene clay; sand and pebble deposits. The cave was formed within the Eocene argillaceous and arenaceous limestones on the gneisses; which are the karstic floor level for limestones. There are 0.5 m-1 m deep lakes in the side gallery and the final zone of the main gallery; and some dripstone deposits at several places. These wall and drapery dripstones; and stalactites; stalagmites; columns and dripstone pools maintain their vivid positions.
