Location: It lies to southeast of the Hacilli Village and Sile District. The mouth is situated on the edge of the fifth whirlpool lying to the east of the steep slope and south of the location where the Degirmen Creek; which joins the Göksu Creek; is winding [Ertek et al. 1998:76].
Geography and Environment: Although the mouth of the cave is very narrow; the gallery becomes enlarged right after the entrance. 50 m further; the active gallery is divided into two; the ceiling on the left branch becomes lowered after a while and it prevents to pass while the right branch is occluded after a short while. It was opened on the steep slope to the east of the fifth whirlpool at the bed of the Degirmen Creek; one of the branches of the Göksu Creek. It was formed in the east-west direction as a result of ground waters sinking into the underground. The mouth comes upon a joint; 12 m high from the creek's bed. The main gallery had been opened almost entirely along with this joint. It was formed as result of corrosion by an underground creek and solution of Triassic intense karstic limestones [Ertek et al. 1998:78].
