Location: It lies next to the Ballik Quarter; about 12 km east of the Inönü District to the southwest of Eskisehir. It was formed over a karstik plateau cleft by Ballik and Kayala creeks joining the Sarisu Brook; a branch of the Porsuk Brook. It can be reached from the Eskisehir-Inönü-Kutahya motorway or the Ankara-Eskisehir-Istanbul railway. A half an hour walk from the Ballik Quarter leads to the cave.
Geography and Environment: It is located on a plateau-like region sloping upward steeply; to the immediate south of the Inönü Plain. The entrance is a -35 m shaft; which is followed by an inclining floor; and the final zone ends up at a depth of -45 m in respect to the entrance. The bottom is covered with block debris; soil and guano. No dripstone decorations were found. It is a fossil cave; which halted its development.
