It is east-west oriented lying 200 m northwest of the Aydintepe District in Bayburt. It has been currently used as a cemetery. Spreading onto a wide area, it is 1630 m high. The destruction has increased substantially due to frequent visits to the cemetery by locals and illicit diggings. Some of the sherds collected from the surface belong to the Early Bronze Age while some others belong to the Early Iron Age. |
