The architectual remains seen on the northernmost slope of the Ahlat-Uludere Valley in the Ahlat District of Bitlis belong to the Middle Age. However, a large amount of Middle Iron Age sherds were found on the wide slope inclining towards the stream. It is uncertain whether these material belongs to a settlement or a necropolis. |
