It is situated 2 km from the Incesu Village, 21 km west of the Dogubeyazit District in Agri. The reservoir rests on the western skirt of the hills which have an average altitude of 1980 m. It was supplied by rain, snow and spring waters. The soil conveyed by the water through the channel into the reservoir silted it up and covered the walls. The wall was built straight with a length of 85 m, a large portion of the southern section being destroyed. It was erected with roughly dressed stones, and it has an average width of 3 m. The floodgate is located at the central part of the wall, but it is not visible since it was already covered by soil. The reservoir was used for irrigation of agicultural lands. The nearest archaeological remains are of the Teperis Fortress, which lies 2-2.5 km to the southwest.
