It is accessible through a challenging road at the end of the village road diverting from the Kagizman-Kars motorway at the 5th km to the west in the Tunçkaya (Keçivan) Village of the Kagizman District in Kars. It was founded on a large massive rock. It maintained its significance throughout the Medieval Age. It is accessed through a gate piercing the west wall. It commands the valley to the north, where many caves are located at. A restricted number of Iron Age sherds were found in this Medieval Age-like fortress. |
