| It is situaeted approximately 1 km northeast of the Kayabeyi Village in the Çildir District of Ardahan. Overlooking the valley, it was built with cyclopean masonry, one side being surrounded by a steep cliff. It has been heavily destroyed, with only the northeastern fortifications walls being extant, and other walls being only traceable at the foundation level. 500 m to the east of the fortress is a sanctuary in oval plan. There are pits, the diameters ranging from 1 to 1.50 m. The ceramics collected from the fortress are mainly dated to the Iron Age. |
