It was founded on a natural rock to the immediate south of the Karakaya Village. The western slope of the mound is very steep, and a brook flows by. It is ca. 140 m long in north-south direction, and 130 m long in east-west direction, with a height of 9 m. The sherds collected from the surface belonged to the 1st Millennium BC. |
