It is situated on a steep hill, right by the side of the Ankara-Kayseri motorway, 1.5 km southeast of the Ogulbey Village, 14 km south of the Gölbasi District in Ankara. It was discovered during the Central Anatolian Survey performed under the direction of S. Omura in 1993. It has a diameter of 125 m and a height of 5 m. Three illicitly dug pits are observed on the southern slope. A majority of the collected sherds belongs to the Iron Age. Abundant number of grey pottery sherds used at the Kaman-Kalehöyük IIb and IIa levels was found. The Classical Period sherds are very small in number. There are two mounds on the skirt of the hill. Most of the restricted number of sherds collected from the surface belong to the Classical Period.
