It is situated approximately 600 m west of the Balikli Dam, and approximately 200 m east of the Samsun-Istanbul motorway, 2 km east of the Sallar Village and 7 km northwest of Gümüshaciköy. It has a diameter of 80 m. It is a slope settlement approximately 4 m high above the plain level. Intense removal of soil resulted in heavy destruction of the settlement, which lies at the center of an agricultural land. The EBA, 2nd and 1st Millenia BC sherds were collected from the surface. |
