It is located on the Çiftevi road, 2 km northeast of the Çiftevi Village, 5.5 km east of the Çelebi Town in the Keskin District of Kirikkale. It stands on a a natural hill. Extending in north-south direction, it has a diameter of ca. 150 m, and a height of 28 m. It was discovered in 1991 during the Central Anatolian Survey conducted under the direction of S. Omura. Majority of the sherds collected from the surface are dated to the Iron Age. However, among them are painted sherds similar to the ones recovered at Kaman-Kalehöyük IIa. |
