Sherds were found as intensely spreaded onto an area of 200 m in diameter on a natural slope and a natural ridge overlooking a brook, 12 km west of the Morhamam Village in the Arguvan District of Malatya. There is a spring immediately under the settlement. It was discovered and surveyed by the Prehistory Department of the Istanbul University on June 1977. It has not been destroyed. A few sherds dating to the Iron Age were found. It appears that a somewhat larger village was established during the Midde Age over the small Iron Age settlement. |
