Presence of four dolmens is known to the south of the Hacilar Village on the right side of the road leading from the Haci Danisment Village to the Hacilar Village. The dolmens were investigated during the surveys conducted under the direction of M. Özdogan, and listed under no. A 4/13 a-d in related publications [Özdogan-Akman 1992:417, pic. 1]. The intact of the dolmens was moved to the garden of the Archaeological Museum of Edirne, and re-installed there. During this period, a limited excavation was carried out under the dolmen, and plenty of sherds dating to the Late Bronze-Early Iron Age transition period, one with large knob similar to the ones recovered from Troy VII level b2 [Özdogan-Akman 1992:408]. These artifacts have not been published. One of the other three dolmens has been partly preserved, and the other two have been heavily destroyed.
