It is situated in the Karakoyunlu District, 15 km east of Igdir. It has 2 m wide fortifications built using the dry wall technique. There are approximately 130 graves from the Early Iron Age, mostly exposed during the illicit diggings. The sherds found in the fortress belong to the EBA, Early and Middle Iron Ages and Medieval Age. |
