It lies in the stream bed of Hösür Deresi, 1 km west of the Bozkir Village in the Ortaköy District of Aksaray. It is 91 m long in the north-south, and 128 m long in the east-west directions with a height of 6 m. The eastern section of this oval-shaped mound has been destroyed by a mill. It was discovered in 1995 during the surveys conducted in Central Anatolia under the direction of S. Omura. Sherds from the EBA, MBA, LBA and Iron Age were collected from the surface. |
