It is situated on the bank of the Bogazkaya Stream, 4 km southeast of the Ulupinar Village in the Merkez District of Kirsehir. With an approximate diameter of 120 m, it is a 18 m high conical mound. The environs of the settlement is surrounded by fields. It was discovered during the Central Anatolian Survey conducted under the direction of S. Omura in 1995. The surface finds consist of EBA, MBA, LBA and Iron Age sherds. It is listed among the registered archaeological sites by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
