It lies 4 km southeast of the Kuruagil Village in the Merkez District of Kirsehir. It measures 180 m in diameter, and 14 m in height. The northern section is steep while the southern section is slightly inclined and in terraces. Summers reported dimensions as 250-300x25-30 m. Traces of illicit diggings are observed on the surface. It was discovered in 1995 during the Central Anatolian Survey conducted under the direction of S. Omura. Sherds from the EBA, MBA, LBA and Iron Age and a few Phrygian grey sherds were collected from the surface. |
