It lies 1 km east of the Çalis Village in the Haymana District of Ankara. There lies a swamp between the mound and the village. It bears traces of illicit diggings, and the skirts have been already cultivated. Plenty of small stones found on the settlement probably belonged to architectural remains. It was discovered in 1993 during the Central Anatolia Survey conducted under the direction of S. Omura. Sherds from the EBA, MBA, LBA and Iron Age were collected from the surface. |
