It lies approximately 1 km southwest of the Balçikhisar I settlement, south of the Balcikhisar Village, 30 km southeast of the Haymana District in Ankara. The diameter is 228 m in the north-south direction, and 277 m in the east-west direction. There is a ca. 5 m high terrace on its eastern skirt. It was discovered by H. Ertem in 1990, and revisited in 1991 during the Central Anatolian Survey conducted under the direction of S. Omura. Sherds from the EBA, MBA and Iron Age were collected from the surface. |
