It is a flat mound lying on a channel, 2 km southwest of the Biyikaydin Village, 29 km southeast of the Baliseyh District in Kirikkale. It measures 88 m in diameter, and 8.5 m in height. Destruction due to illicit diggings are observed on the southwestern skirt. It was discovered during the surveys conducted in Central Anatolia under the direction of S. Omura in 1991. Sherds from the EBA represent majority of the finds. Also found are material from the Iron Age and Hellenistic Period. |
