IT lies 1.5 km northeast of the Çiftevi Village in the Ortaköy District of Aksaray. It is surrounded by fields on three sides, and by a garden to the west. Next to it runs a village road. It was investigated during the surveys conducted in Central Anatolia in 1990 by S. Omura and H. Sever. With a diameter of 120 m, and height of 25 m, it houses material from the Iron Age, and Phrygian and Classical Periods. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
