It is situated in the Kelismailusagi Village, north of the Akpinar District in Kirsehir. It was founded on the Kiliç bench with a diameter of 183.5 m and an approximate height of 18 m. It was discovered during the Survey of the Kirsehir Province conducted under the direction of S. Omura in 1987. Majority of the surface finds include straw tempered, paint decorated and nail impressed sherds from the EBA. Also found are some sherds dating to the second half of the 2nd Millennium BC and a few Phrygian sherds. It is listed among the registered archaeological sites by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
