It rests on a conglomerate terrace, 4-5 cm above the river alluvium, located 400 m south of the Kizilirmak River (Halys), about 2 km northwest of the Gülsehir District of Nevsehir. The base diameter measures ca. 100x70 m while the height is 15 m together with the terrace, and around 8 m above the terrace level on the southern section. Majority of the material are EBA sherds with limited number of material dating from the 2nd Millennium BC, Iron Age and Byzantine Period. |
