It is situated near the road to the Yalaközü Village on the Ceyhan-Kadirli motorway, 15 km northeast of Ceyhan and provincial center of Adana. The material collected from the 15 m high mound's surface contains EBA specimens. Also found are material from the Hittite Period and the Iron Age [Seton-Williams 1954:131-172]. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
