It was situated approximately 2 km northeast of the Igdeli (Saskan) Village, north-northwest of the Bozova District, northwest of Sanliurfa. It has been flooded by the reservoir waters of the Atatürk Dam. It was 13 m high, measuring 180x90 m in dimensions. It was discovered by M. Özdogan et al. in 1977. Sherds of dark burnished, chaff-tempered and coarse ware dating to the Chalcolithic Age were collected from the surface. Alos found are sherds belonging to the EBA, MBA, Iron Age, Classical Period and Post Classical Age. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
