It is situated 700 m north of the railroad,1200 m north of the Kulusagi Village, 18 km from the Battalgazi District in Malatya. The hill can be accessed through a dirt road running under the railroad. It covers an area of 60x30 m on a thin and long ridge, which can mark the old boundary of the Euphrates. The cultural deposit of the mound is very thin. The discovery and preliminary survey were performed by the Prehistory Department of University of Istanbul. The hilltop was leveled to serve as threshing field. The northern and western slopes of the mound are steep, and the eastern slope makes a smooth declination, connecting to the natural hill. Some Iron Age sherds were collected. It appears that most of the EBA deposit disappeared with erosion, and the remaining levels belong to a small Early Iron Age settlement.
