It stands on Egrektepe overlooking the Suluova plain; about 16 km south of Suluova District; west of Amasya Province. It was discovered in 1986 during a survey conducted by M. Özsait. Largely light brown and light red washed EBA pottery with a straw and fine grit tempered paste was collected from the surface. Some bear knobs under the lips while some are channel decorated. |
