It lies approximately 600 m east of the road to Çatalca on the western shore of the Lake Büyük Çekmece, approximately 4 km northwest of the Büyük Çekmece District in Istanbul. It covers a very large terrain. It was discovered by M. Özdogan, and sherds dating to the Early Bronze Age, Classical Period and Middle Age were collected from the surface. |
