| Based on the sherds collected, it appears that the flat hill on which the Bornova Anadolu High School is located now, was a mound and it had been inhabited from the Early Bronze Age until the Hellenistic Period [Meriç 1987:301]. The excavations conducted in 1986 yielded a Phallus from the Archaic Age with a height of 0.9 m [Meriç 1988:248]. |
