| The small; 3 m high mound lies 30-31 km southwest of Adana; south of Kiziltahta village; 2 km south of Kamisli village. The Cilicia Survey was conducted by M.V. Seton Williams in 1951. Sherds of chaff-tempered ware were found. Some of them date to the Chalcolithic Age. In addition; Iron Age; Hellenistic and Roman Period ceramics were collected. Domuz III is one of the debatable sites for Chalcolithic Age. The mound is dated to the 9th phase in ASPRO. |
