It is one of the biggest mounds of the Büyük Menderes Plain; located 1.5 km west of Aydin Province. It was discovered by J. Mellaart. This oval-shaped mound is 10 m high above the plain level and 90 m high above the sea level. It is also known as Dedekuyusu. It was discovered by J. Mellaart. Surveys conducted by R.T. Marchese and E. Akdeniz yielded pottery of the Late Chalcolithic Age; the EBA and the second millennium BC in addition to the materials from the late periods. Density of pottery is much on the southern slope. It has been under the threat of the modern settlement. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
