Darbogaz Village lies on the southern slope of the Bolkar Mountain within the series of the Taurus; 12 km southeast of Ulukisla; south of Nigde Province. 5 pieces of EBA pottery recovered from the village or the EBA settlement in the surrounding territory are preserved at the Nigde Archaeological Museum. They are elevated slightly spouted and handled squat jugs [Öztan 1989:draw.2; 7; 8; 11; 13]. The decoration is applied on the rim and beginning of neck. Pottery of metallic ware (See Çayhan for this ware and its decorative features) was found. An EBA mound introduced by J. Mellaart and called Zeyve II lies 6 km northwest of Darbogaz Village. It is uncertain if the finds came from this mound.
