It lies southwest of Akçalar Village; north of Seydisehir District of Konya Province. Northwest of the mound passes Konya-Seydisehir motorway. It was discovered by J. Mellaart and dated to EBA. It was researched within the scope of the Surveys at Konya-Karaman Region performed by H. Bahar et al. in 2006. It is approximately 100 m in diameter and 5 m high. Sherds that were daterd to 2nd Millenium BC, Hellenistic, and Roman Periods in addition to EBA [Bahar 2008:240]. |
