The mound lies 18 km northeast of the city of Mus; north of Mus Plain; northeast of Çukurbag (Orgonus) village. There is an airport east of the site and Orgünüs Stream west. The site was discovered by M.S. Rothman in 1991 and is thought to be a Late Chalcolithic Age settlement. |
