This site lies southwest of the city of Burdur; 2 km southwest of the town of Çavdir; in the Çiftlik neighborhood south of the Burdur-Gölhisar highway. It has been reported that this mound; which is 7 m high and 700x100 m large; lies in the narrow valley west of the town of Çavdir; on the sloping flanks of Mount Çavdir and about 200 m northwest of the spring. The site originally discovered by J. Mellaart was resurveyed by M. Özsait in 1989. The surface of the mound yielded Late Chalcolithic; Early Bronze Age I and II ceramics. Some thin walled; high forms with flaring rims in addition to vessels with rounded bodies with pierced lugs which are typologically Late Neolithic and Early Chalcolithic were found. Özsait believes they resemble Hacilar VI ceramics and the finds from the sites of Gölde and Çamur Höyük. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
